I have no idea how I would rivet properly without these, when riveting thin material, or nutplates where the nutplate tends to push away from the skin, especially if dimpled, these take any of the effort out of the squeeze. Directing the force within the squeezers, instead of requiring you to pull down on the squeezer or force it against the surface makes hand squeezing a breeze.
